I got my date and kinda was upset it was so far away. But I'm realizing I needed the time to get last minute stuff done. I told my hubby I was ready to have surgery yesterday! Now I'm glad I have a month to prepare. What all is left for everyone? I need bloodwork and an EKG. Doing both on 3/14. Pre op class 3/27. I'm a little jealous of all the MX sleevers... I want a vacation/ sleeve too! I'm going to the exotic San Antonio TX.

I went to Unjury.com and got a pack of each for $2 a piece. Then Chike had a sample pack that I got. They should be in this next week.

We need to keep everyone updated with good and bad experiences. I just ordered unjury and Chike samples! Can't wait to try them believe it or not. I'm ready!!!

I've tried two so far, one was sooo gross (52e chocolate). I tried one that was decent (lean body on the go vanilla ice cream) I got both at an HEB plus. I have some bariatric advantage that my doctors office recommends, gonna try one in the am. I've hear a lot of good reviews on premier from Costco, but haven't made it over there to get some. Gotta get in gear, it's right around the corner. My pre op diet starts march 27 th.

Simone we will have the same surgiversary!!! I've been thinking on weight loss surgery for 7+ years. I can't believe it wither that it finally is here. When does your pre op diet start?

Well u go girl! I wouldn't have been opposed to MX, but my insurance does cover it. I would have done whatever it took to get it if it wasn't covered though. I'm pretty sure after all my deductibles and co-pays it might be more expensive than MX! I've heard great success stories from MX.

I finally got a surgery date!!!!!! April 8 th!!!! I'm so excited I could burst! I would like to keep up with other April sleevers, pre-op diets, protien shakes, progress, stats, any concerns, etc. Lets hear it for new beginnings!

Congrats! I'm doing a 6 month diet, which will be done in July. We have family stuff all August so I'm pretty sure I will have to wait till September. We can be sept buddies!! Keep me updated!!!

I'm in month two of my 6 month supervised diet. Found out from my endo doc that I have diabetes. I am so ready to have this done. This pushes me even more to stay on track and keep gathering all the info I can. This site has been so helpful in research good and bad. I'm meeting with the nut, psych, and surgeon on Tuesday. Can't wait to get this show on the road!!! I'm ready to share a success story!!!

My husband has been so supportive from day one of my decision. I have a 6 month diet requirement and he helps me every day. My husband and I met when I was 245 pounds 13 years ago. So I know he doesn't have a problem with a bigger woman, but at my current weight of 340 its a bit out of his scope I'm sure. He would never say, he tells me every day how beautiful I am. But just recently admitted he hates to see me in pain how Im walking. He's so amazing, I can't wait to give him a sexier woman he's never had. We are high school sweethearts and have only ever been with each other. He deserves it. Can't wait!!!

I met with the surgeons office 1/18/13, after considering wls for the past 5+ years. The director gave me more hope than any other diet I have ever tried. (And I have been dieting since I was 10!) I am excited about the surgery, but I have a mandatory six month supervised diet requirement. I am a bit disappointed but I've done it this long, six more months won't kill me I have been lurking around this site for 6 months and thought its time to speak out and join the ranks. Everyones story's, good and scary, have helped me make this decision, and I have a feeling I'm gonna need support from you all more than I know at the moment. Thanks for sharing everyone!
