  1. You should go in, I'm at 225 and their XL panties fit good and I'm in a 38d, the lady was soooo nice and brought me all sorts of stuff till I found what I liked. Thanks everyone for the responses, we r all getting there!
  2. I got the perfect shaper ones. I only bought two, that way next sale I can get girly ones. I was pretty practical and got white and nude.
  3. Bought my first Victorias Secret bra! I've never been measured, I've always winged it due to not wanting to be embarrassed. I've gone from 350 lbs to my current 225. I still want to get to 185, but I just wanted to share with people who would grasp the gravity of this NSV! I am working hard to get to goal hope everyone is doing well!
  4. I'm 32 lots of people have told me that. I was always aggravated that people thought I was older, so now I look my age... Maybe younger! Thanks everyone for the sweet words. And for the ones on their way, don't give up, it will happen. <3
  5. Just got rid of the last few things I was hanging on to. I barely have anything left! My husband helped me load it all into bags. As I was throwing away a hoodie I had always worn, my husband asked why I was throwing it away when I loved it so much. It made me cry to tell him that I hadn't really loved it, I had pretend that I did with the majority of my clothes because I am young and want to look unique in my clothing choice, but my size wouldn't allow it. The hoodie I got rid of was a men's 4x. I do have a fun sense of style but I have never been able to show it before. I'm not all the way there, but I am a heck of a lot closer than I was before! Oh and I got rid of all those hangers that had the sizes on them. No more 26/28 for me! So now my closet is so empty, but I am hesitant to get things that I will get too small for... What a fabulous problem! I am 5.5 months out. I have lost 100 pounds. I never thought I would ever be where I am today. I am so grateful for this surgery, and all the people who supported me. I hope all is well with everyone else!
  6. I am self employed, and my husbands insurance doeant not cover wls. I havent had insurance in over 10 years. I was given information on the pcip insurance program for my state of Texas. If you cannot be covered by insurance, which all that i tried I didn't meet weight requirements, and you haven't had insurance in the last 6 months, this will cover you and it covers wls. Its around $200 a month. Www.pcip.gov hope this helps.
  7. My hubby bought me a food one called "Life after weight loss surgery" on Amazon. I can't wait to try some recipes.

  14. It was a man who was a member on this site. I didn't know him, but apparently he passed from a blood clot two weeks out from surgery.
  15. Yea, reading about someone's passing really has done a number on my confidence. I have been so ready to go, and now I'm really at a crossroad. Real talk here.... Why can't I just shut my mouth and not over eat is what my brain is saying. Then it says because you've been trying for years and it doesn't or I can't get it to work. I don't want to continue like this, but I sure don't want to cut my life short fighting this fight. I hope I'm not putting a dark cloud over y'all.... I just needed to say/ type it out loud.

  20. I've decided to wait on my expensive protein shakes. So many people say your taste changes after surgery. So I'm gonna save trying those till after surgery. I'm nervous too! It feels too close, but far away.... If that makes sense. Lol. If y'all have usernames for My Fitness Pal, lets share, that's a good way to keep up with each other also!!! Mine is weezie64 add me!!!
