    I'm pretty new here...hoping to have a March surgery date. I had my consultation with my surgeon Jan 16th, EGD Jan 24th, medical clearance Jan 29th...still have to do my psych and nutrition next week, and then everything will be submitted to insurance. I have a friend I work with who was approved less than two weeks after submitting to insurance. Hoping it's the same for me! I'm 5'7, 250 lbs, 30 yrs old.

    I have my first appointment with my surgeon today. I'm still kinda on the fence about whether I want to go through with this or not. I'm not sure what to expect today...hopefully will find out more info to help me decide. Any advice?
