  2. Day 3, home from the hospital & seriously just wanna sleep uninterrupted for like 8 hours straight lol, not in pain really just sore. Hope that I can get in my liquids, so far sf Popsicles are the easiest to get down. Hope everyone else is doing ok! http://february272013.wordpress.com/
  3. Had my sleeve yesterday !!!!! Had a rough night last night, didn't sleep very well & was crazy nauseous & threw up this morning. Got some new meds & pumped full of fluids & feel 70% better now. Walking around, waiting on my leak test so I can have some clear liquids.   6. Did your primary suggest you get a second opinion from a second bariatric doctor? If you are that unhappy with the care you are receiving then you have every right & reason to do so. However, never having seen you before they would (should) send you for tests to find out what/if there is a problem. But of course this is just my opinion.

  11. Hi everyone, I'm Anita. I live, work & play in Buffalo NY. I'm a single mom of two great teens (16 & 18) & this is the very first thing ever I have done for myself. I started my journey back in May of last year & after several hiccups I am being sleeved on February 27th YEAH !! I'm kinda glad it took the time it did, now I am ready. (They say things happen for a reason, right) best wishes to all of you. We will all be as fantabulous on the outside as we are on the inside soon !!

  14. Dr Caruana is doing mine. What do you have left to do before they will schedule a date? Once insurance approves its about 4-6 weeks till date. It will go by quick, just hang in there

  16. You dont have h pylori forever. After treatment of H. pylori , it is necessary to repeat breath or stool tests to see if the germ has been killed or eradicated for good. Only breath tests or endoscopy with biopsy can be used to prove that the bacterium has been eradicated. The blood tests *(serology ) is not suitable to monitor H.pylori eradication because antibodies to H.pylori may remain positive for months or even years after successfully killing the H. pylori .
  17. I had my approval last Wednesday they called to schedule the same day. Don't give up, I had originally had approval & was to have surgery Jan 8, but my company changed insurances Jan 1, so I had to get approved again from new insurance so now I'm on for Feb 27th.
