  1. My doctor has put me on Phentermine which has helped a lot! And as long as your motivated and never take your eye off the prize 6 months wont be but a little thing. I had a little goof last month where I gained 8 pounds which is why she put me on Phentermine and when I went back this month I had lost that and then some. After my slip up I went out to rue 21 because you can get a cute outfit for 10$ or less on clearance and got 1 outfit of something I want to be able to wear one day, and it seems silly but its helps a lot! A lot of insurances don't put you on a goal, but its always good to have a goal set for yourself helps out the process.
  2. They didn't give me a set amount. I just have to have 6 months of showing I'm trying. I've kinda set myself on like a 30 pound goal. And I'm about 10 pounds away from there.
  3. I haven't even been on here in forever, but as of right now I'm on month 4 out of 6 for my pre op dieting! My last month will be June then it'll get sent off to insurance I'm counting the days and I'm beyond excited.
  4. I'm 18, and 312 lbs. I'm still going through the big ole process of getting the surgery, and I cannot wait. Most people say they want the body they had in high school back, but I want my middle school body back!! My question is though, how hard is the diet adjustment post-op??
