My story is not much different from many stories that I have been told or read about. I have been heavy all my life but was active and healthy however a injury caused me to be seditery and I gained weight and then I became ill and was administeredsteroids and gained some more weight. the injury prevented me from constant movement with the additional weight and so I reached my highest weight of 339 lbs. I hated the way I felt and no longer wanted to be incumbered by the weight.
I started my journey for the Gasric sleeve on my birthday 18 months ago. I had the procedure done on December 7 2012. I am finding it very challenging to do during the holidays but I am glad to see the progress to date. I am excited to reach my goals and feel better and enjoy my grandchildren.
