  1. I like the letter idea because it's something they can hold on to - and you would explain why you were doing this procedure which might give them closure.
  2. Here is a question - does this feeling or needing to graze and chomp go away after you are sleeved? I am testing myself for a few weeks to see if I can even do the pre-op diet before I see the doc! Day 1 is hard and my brain keeps saying to go to the fridge or the pantry for really no reason and my mouth is salivating? WHY?
  3. I totally relate....I don't even have a date but I am afraid of having to think about food and pain for the rest of my life etc... all the time. Thanks for being so honest - that's what this forum is for. I can't speak from experience but I understand how you feel in different ways. Being the big Mom at school is not fun. I hope this journey will be a great transition into a new life for you. (hugs)
