So My surgery date is set for June 10th and my 1st day of the preop diet is TODAY ! Had Muscle Milk Light shake for Breakfast Drank 5 glasses of Water Had a small chicken ceased salad w/ light ranch and 1 wheat roll Now couple hours later I'm snacking on steamed green Beans. Thank god I can have unlimited veggies I don't know what to do with myself every time I try to distract myself food comes to mind Lord help me get passed these 2 weeks as quick as possible Anyone experiencing the same at this moment?

When I started in May 2012 for the 6 month visits i was at 372 today I am 339 ...33 lbs down and I'm scheduled for surgery 6/10 so happy that its ALMOST here

Hey guys well I started doing this whole process May 18 2012 and still have not gotten surgery as of yet. It will be a year soon but I'm praying to god that by the end of May beginning of June I will finally be able to get sleeved. My setback was not having my sleep study done in time. I had to switch over from surgeons and now I'm my doctor is Dr. Bagloo of Valley Hospital. All I need to do now is get my CPAP machine and then I will finally be able to schedule my surgery date with her. Fingers & toes crossed that this all goes well.

I meet with my surgeon march 1st so I definitely think I will be a march sleever ... soo excited

Congrats to everyone who was approved I too was finally approved at the end of Jan. my preop visit with my surgeon will be on March 1st and then hopefully I will find out what day I can schedule for surgery !

omg it definitely is I just found out I was denied but I just need medical clearance and I should be fine best of luck to you

So I called my insurance and was denied but its not the end of the world as I look at it. All I need to do is resubmit a letter from another pcp other than my surgeon for medical clearance and that I really need bariatric surgery so I'm getting all of this done this week and I will find out in 5 days if I am reconsidered fingers and toes crossed lol Good luck everyone who is waiting on approval and if you are denied keep moving forward ... insurance companies try to bring you down show them you will not give up.

No set date yet but I'm in nnj will be having the procedure done in valley hospital

I have Cigna I needed a 6 month supervised visits and tests to be able to submit and now I have to wait 30 business days to find out if I'm approved or not

Go on a roller coaster ride could never fit on one but hopefully soon

So I started my journey in May I'm 23 yrs old and Ice never felt so ready to finally do something about my weight im a bit nervous but I can't wait to find out soon if I'm approved just though I would randomly rant Happy New Years Everyone !
