  1. First off, I am a total newbie in the protein drink world--- just beginning the sampling stage for my up coming surgery. I've read in another forum about how great "Sunkist Protein" drinks/shots are. I've attached the nut info of the shots I found online. Does anyone have thoughts or info on this "special type" of protein they use? I'm thinking these shots might be good in my early days post- surgery. I appreciate your thoughts;)

  3. Ditto for me---I'm pretty much obsessed and even got a "count down app" on my phone. My hubby said,"stop checking the forums - your going to stress yourself up!"---HA!!! Too late buddy--- it's all I think about!!
  4. I read the first "disc of witches"--- loved! Time to download #2;). Thanks for the reminder
  5. Cool! Thanks;)---(running to my ipad to search and download!!)
  6. It looks like I have similar reading taste to you. I enjoyed: Sookie Stackhouse series ( fun & sexy but no 50 shades) An e book series called Heller The Book Thief(historical but good) Room(about a kidnapped mom and her son-- emotional but good read) If I think of more I'll post;)
  7. Suepeeps- did your surgery complicate your fibromyalgia? My mom has wanted to do the surgery but thought the surgery might induce havoc on her already painful body. Thx;)
  8. We'll have to keep in touch--- my surgery is the same day;)--- 7 weeks 3 days--- ;D
  9. Liz, I got your invite for the group but I'm not sure if I actually joined the group?!? Sorry, but I'm using my phone app and it doesn't show me as part of the group. Am I doing something wrong? I'm following this thread-- but is that the same thing??? As you can see I'm new to this forum thing;-/. Thanks in advance!!
  10. I've had a annual pass to Disneyland for years, so i can help a little with the avail food choices. There is a place called Bangel BBQ--- pretty much you can get meat and veggie skewers. I feel like that's the safest bet when I'm there and watching carbs. I am due to be sleeved in Feb, so I don't know how your energy level will be by then- because honestly Disneyland is quite exhausting especially in the hitter months. However, food wise I'd think as long as you have some protein drinks on hand or protein powder to add to avail drinks you will be fine. There are fruit carts, yogurt, and even restaurants that have mashed potatoes and yummy low carb salads. Just depends on what you can tolerate by then.
  11. Amazing! Such an inspiration!!! Thanks for posting all your details--- I due to be sleeved 2/27 and it helps me plan;)
  12. Crazy--- I thought about making a video to my hubby and son! But I feel like I should think positive, pray and not put that out into the universe!!! Lol. Like you, I just want to be informed and prepared;).
  13. Hi there! I'm Sara and scheduled to be sleeved 4/27/2013 in Fountain Valley, CA with Dr. LePort. I am sooo excited, but so overwhelmed now that I have a date set. Leaks, protein, clots, protein--- it's all I think about!! I'm so glad I found this thread. Best wishes to all of you
