Thank you for the push! I do need that. Some people just don't understand how hard it is to lose weight when it is genetic. I have tried everything.

I'm strongly considering moving forward with Dr. Barker here in Dallas, but I haven't made up my mind 100%. I've attended his lap band seminars and got a wealth of information; i guess I'm just concerned with possible complications as I'm trying to make my decision.

Hi, As you can see I am new here. I am considering lap-band or gastric bypass surgery and am looking for a doctor in Dallas. I was doing some research and wanted to get an unbiased opinion. What do you guys and gals think of this lap-band surgeon in Dallas? I saw his TV commercial and he seems nice. Anyone had any experience with Dr. Wade Barker? C. Coe Aka "Texas Girl"
