  1. I take several medications daily and am a bit worried about how I will take them immediately post-op. I tried to crush them up this morning as a trial run and nearly vomited. I can get a few in liquids but the other not. What have your docs suggested and when did they let you start taking meds as usual. Jenn
  2. I'm glad to know that I am not the only one having the "pre-op" crankiness. I think some of it for me isn't so much the hunger, but the ketosis. I was feeling light headed and shaky and went and got some diabetic keto sticks. Yup...was moderately ketotic. Gotta talk to the nutrish on Monday because I work in a job where I can't be shaky or light headed. Jenn
  3. And all is tax deductible as well. Jenn
  4. I am having surgery on Jan 14th. I am going to see the surgeon and will have to pay him the $400 deductible. My hospital deductible is $150 as well. Fortunately I work for the hospital and as an employee they have waved my deductibles. After reading this, it makes me realize my insurance may be limited to the hospital I work for, but it is pretty good coverage. Jenn
  5. Congrats on your surgery. Mine is coming up in 2 weeks and I am quite excited.
  6. Jan 14th here. Quite excited! Need to start the pre-op now so I can avoid the christmas weight gain.
