I'm packing my overnight bag just need suggestions of what I will really NEED!

I love Dr. Misra she is doing my surgery tomorrow!!!

I know it's been a while since you have been sleeved but I am having Dr. Misra do my vsg tomorrow once I met her I knew she was the right surgeon for me. Congrats on all your goals.

I also have surgery this Friday and woke up sick with a cough and congestion. I did see my doctor and she said just drink my fluids and if I'm still sick worse case scenario I will have to postpone til Monday (NEW YEARS EVE) So I hope it goes away and I hope you get better too.

I'm officially two days from my surgery date. (12/28/12)I'm so excited I don't think it has hit me yet maybe when they call me tomorrow with details of when to be at the hospital it will. I am on my clear liquids for the next two days. !! Just weighed in at the surgeons office at 264. Goal weight is 150 (I'm 5'4 and 33 years old)!!

Thank you for the response I'm so overwhelmed my surgeons submitted on Friday for approval and I got approved on Monday.. they told me my date has to be before the new year to be 100% covered so it came so fast and I had no time to plan for the pre op diet so I'm trying to run around and get everything I need! Thanks for that info,

After researching and doing required stuff for insurance I got my surgery date today for next week December 26th 2012.. I'm officially pre op!! Im starting my pre op liquid diet today and need any and all advice how to get started what do you recommend and specific brands of protein shakes that dont taste like chalk.. please help me get started!!
