I live in Bethel Berks County but am having surgery at Penn Hospital in Philadelphia Tomorrow I go to meet the nutritionist, anaesthesia, and my Dr.. It is the countdown!! Surgery Jan 9th

My date is Jan 9th! It is coming up fast. I am on 1200 calories then two weeks before surgery 1000 calories a day mostly protein no sugar. It is tough but I'm doing it. My surgery is with Dr Schuricht in Philadelphia. Anyone else in Philly?

I am excited for you. I too am new. I have surgery January 20th. I want friends I can follow that are going through this at the same time. I am so excited and relieved but a little anxious too. I started my pre-op diet today. Are you on one?

I was approved today for Jan 9th... What are bariatric body bags anyway? Does anyone know? I'm very excited and a little nervous but at 52 yrs old I have decided I don't want to live like this. It is worth the fear and if I don't make it I just don't but I have a chance at a life I could never achieve. I can walk, run whatever after the surgery and I am so miserable now that I am excited for a new life.

I was just approved for Jan 9th and I am excited and nervous. One of my kids hates what I am doing and four are ok with it. My son is so worried about me not surviving and or being sick for life. I told him things are different now but he is not happy doesn't let me talk about it to him.
