Weight Gained Since Having Gastric Sleeve Surgery
I was wondering if someone could tell me what the 5 day pouch test is? I am 3 1/2 years post surgery and was doing great until the last year and I am very afraid I heading into gaining all my weight back. I just never thought I would gain the weight back. Anyone out there having a similar problem?

Can you tell what the pouch test is? I'm so ashamed to say I have gained most of my weight back. I would love to chat with someone that understands my frustration. I got surgery Oct. 2012 and weighed 223 and my lowest I was 157 6 months later. I have slowly gone back to bad habits and feel ashamed to go back to my dr.- Must get back on track.....need a support/accountability buddy...sleeved 4/13
- 5 weeks and weight loss has stalled
Thanks for the comment. I need to start walking and drinking more water. Happy New Year! 2013 will be our year. Have you .lost 91 lbs. in 6 weeks, that is fantastic. I have only lost 33lbs in 8 weeks.- Stalled at 7 weeks out
I just went through a 3 week stall, I know exactly how you feel. Make sure you are getting all your protein and water in, I have a real hard time with both. I have lost 4 lbs. since the stall in the last week. Hang in there, it will pass, stick to your routine and you shouldn't have any problem. When did you have your surgery, mine was Oct. 30 and I have lost 28 lbs.- How much are you down?
Have you had any stalls along the way? I am 5 weeks out and have been in a stall for 2 weeks, only 24 lbs lost so far.- 5 weeks and weight loss has stalled
Thank you for your comments. I will try to be patient, it is very hard and depressing. Have drs. appt. on Friday, hope he may have some suggestions.- 5 weeks and weight loss has stalled
I had my gastric sleeve surgery on November 30 and have lost 24 lbs. I have not lost anything for the last two weeks and I am terribly depressed and worried I'm not going to lose anymore. I feel like a complete failure, I have tried to do everything the way I was instructed. I do have trouble drinking all my water and the protein shakes make me sick at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do to get my weight loss going again. Thank you for any comments!
