  1. I am still always tired and I am 4 weeks out and have been nauseous for 4 weeks. I also have pain in my throat and stomach when eating and was told by my regular dr that I haven't given myself time to recoup. I had my surgery on a Wednesday, ended up having to stay overnight, took the rest of that week off, had the weekend off, that Monday was a holiday and I went back to work that Tuesday. But Dr Umbach and everyone in his office is great!!!! I am trying to take some steps backwards and drink more shakes instead of introducing more food because I really don't want to mess this up. I lost 20 lbs the first 2 weeks and nothing since then. But I've seen alot about the dreaded 3 week stall. Mine has turned into a 3 & 4 week stall. I've tried to start working out a bit but was told by my regular dr that it is too soon. Which is confirmed by my weak and sore tummy when I do workout. I walk everyday at work on my breaks. I'm still trying to do some things; work my arms and legs, but I'm trying to take things slower. I have really been pushing myself too much.
  2. Oh wow!!! We were there the same day.
  3. I also live in Vegas. I was sleeved by Dr Umbach on Nov 7.
  4. I was told i could have broth & sugar free jello. They actually gave me jello at the hospital. and of course your shakes.
  5. and I was told that my surgery would take about 45 minutes but it ended up taking 2 hours.
  6. I was originally told that after surgery once I was walking and able to keep water down I could go home that day, and that was my plan. But I had a hard time waking up after my surgery so I ended up having to stay overnight and was released to go home the next day after lunch, after the dr saw me.
  7. I know exactly what u mean.
  8. I had the sleeve. I burp alot too. Im 3 1/2 weeks out. But when I burp it feels better because im having an aweful lot of pain in my throat & stomach when I eat.
  9. BTW.....I had the sleeve....not lapband.
  10. I am 3 1/2 weeks post op & still feel nauseous pretty much everyday. I am trying to find a food that feels ok. Im so depressed thinking Ive done something to mess this up already. But with the small amount of food Ive been able to eat, surely I haven't messed it up. Im trying to exercise but my stomach is still so weak & sore too. I've lost 20-22 lbs...in the first 2 weeks but I think that was the fact that the first 2 days all i did was drink water & sleep and because Ive had no soda or Starbucks. My throat feels like it is closing up when I eat....and Im doing my tiny bites. But i can feel everything going down. And then my stomach will hurt. Im very frustrated.
