  2. Thats whats weird....Im 12 weeks out tomorrow. I was cleared for all foods 2 weeks out. So Ive had carrots before. I havent exceeded any limits with what little I have eaten. Im drinking my Water....Im just really miserable right now.
  3. Lird help me!!! I have been VERY goid today. Drinking my water, had a hard boiled egg for breakfast, and just had a couple of carrot sticks. Now....I just feel sick & in pain. My stomach hurts bad!!!!
  4. Awesome!! Keep up the great work.
  5. That's great. My husband & I moved here in June and walked the Strip the next weekend. Unfortunately that was one of my low points as far as walking & all that fun stuff....so needless to say....we only made it to 4 of the hotels that day. One of them had to be Caesars because his daughter wanted to do the Zack Gallifinackus (spelling??) bit from Hangover. And she did. LOL We are hoping to finish our walk when it gets nicer out.
  6. Im still having a hard time with the whole breakfast thing. Ive never gotten up early enough to have breakfast & have never been much of a breakfast person anyway. I just cant stomach food that early...makes me nauseous. I did try one of Starbucks Protein Bistro Boxes the other day. Couldnt finish it (because it was alot & I was still having issues with this dang root canal) but I ate the egg, cheese & part of the fruit.
  7. Oh wow. I live in Vegas. Where are you a chef at? It sounds like you are doing well. Congrats & Good luck on your continuing journey.

  11. Sounds pretty good... I was released at my 2 week check up to eat whatever but told to try one thing at a time incase it didnt go over well so I would know what it was. It was suggested I start with fish...but I dont eat fish. We eat alot of chicken around here....even more now. And thank god for eggs & cheese.

  13. Was it recommended to anyone else not to eat pork chops? Just because they tend to be so dry?? I miss grilled chops....
  14. What about sucking on ice chips in between your sips? I had a horrible time with nausea up until recently & the only thing that helped with that was tea. Water made it worse. I cant remember what stage you are at but can you have fruit? Watermelon is really "juicy" and not too chunky or hard to get down either. And if you are still taking any of the pain meds or anything like that they can make your mouth dry & make your tummy upset if there's no food to speak of in there.
  15. I made some extra lean burgers one night for dinner & cooked them on my Forman grill. Added a little chopped up onions & peppers & some seasonings. No bun for mine. They were pretty tasty & still really moist.
