toooo funny Delarla
I asked the doctor "the question" Straight out. "Hey Doctor H. what about Vigorous Sex?" He just smiled and said "No problem." I mean come on...... sometimes thats the only exercise I used to get. I say used to get because I've been divorced for awhile now. But when I'm a lean mean machine again, I plan "exercising" really soon with someone special.
Its so great to hear from people that have been banded for a few years & that they are so successful at their weight loss! Most importantly that their health is good. way to go I hope you hit your goal of under 200 really soon!
Forgot to mention I am from Michigan & if I am banded will go to Dr Hawashi. I just turned 38 & would love to have a child someday - so that is why I think the band is the best choice. Thank you all for saying hello.
Hi All,
I have not been banded as of yet but am considering it & will decide in the next month or so. I have already recieved my referral & taken the psych exam & passed. I am sending in the weight loss history tomorrow & will wait to hear from the insurance. I am currently 243 & 5'6" according to the last measurement (where I tried to slouch as much as possible to take off a 1/2" or more) LOL - you see I am not quite 40 BMI> But I am close at 37BMI & have gerd & knee problems once in awhile. I love this site & have learned alot thus far. Congrats to all that have taken control of thier lives! I hope to have the courage to join you as well.
Warmly
I'll succeed
Silly question maybe-BUT I am wondering about deep dives & the possiblitiy of the band slipping out of place. Does anyone know if this could be a problem?
Thanks
Can any tell me if a band over a LARGE period of years will need to be replaced? Most surgery techniques don't last a lifetime, kind of like face-lifts & veneers. Also can anyone tell me who has had the band in place for over a few years or the longest? I would love to know of any longterm problems. Thank you so very much. I am hoping to be banded in a few mnths.
