  2. Well i got through my surgery dr. Juarez was awesome they said i had no complications. I did throw up once and dry heaved which is not pleasant at all.. I didn't want to eat or drink but i was waking.. The staff at the hospital were awesome really took care of me.. My family was really impressed with the level of care i recieved. After the first two days and when i finally got home and could sleep i felt a lot better. I still have some pain at the incision site but I'm getting better all the time.

  5. Umm I dont know why i wrote Dr. Aceves lol.. I was looking into to going to him in MX before I was approved but I am having surgery with Dr. Juarez.. brain fart.
  6. Hi, I am having surgery with Dr. Juarez on Monday December 3rd. I have had a really good experience with him and his staff... I believe they are the only reason I was able to get approved and get this surgery. I tried working with another office in Phoenix with Dr. Sprunger.. he was really really nice but his staff sucks so bad!! I was always chasing them and calling their office for an update.. never got a call or an email back. Finally when the lady did call me it was to say I was denied and that she had missed the appeal window??? WTF?? I was so pissed! I contacted Dr. Aceves office and worked with a lady their named Mary, she was awesome.. totally took care of everything and like two months later i was approved. I have only met Dr. Aceves once but he was nice.. and i've heard good things about him.. I guess I can let you know for sure after Monday since that is when i am getting my surgery.
  7. Hi There! I am glad I found you. I am going in on December 3rd, i have been really nervous but I am excited too because I have struggled with this dang weight too long.. I think my family may be making me more nervous than anything though.. my husband is very supportive but he is really scared about me going in.. he has to work that day but its probably good so he wont be sending me nervous vibes. My mom and brother are going to come though... so i'm sure they will make up for the nervous vibes anyway. I have faith that everything will go smoothly for both of us Hopefully we can get on here about a year later and both be at goal
  8. So I am new to this site, but I have been lurking around here for a few months now My surgery is on December 3rd only 3 days from now YIKES!! I am nervous and excited this thread has helped me out quite a bit.
