  3. Question... I'm reading post op forums and seeing people are a month out and still only eating 2oz at a time. I'm 6 days out and can eat a whole chibani yogurt?? I can have a whole packet of Lipton Soup. I don't have any pain, sleeping normal, went grocery shopping, back to 90%!! Believe me I'm not complaining but wondering why I can eat so much??

  7. 2 day update, came home the day after surgery, I think I pushed it a little bit! Was really sore this morning but pushed myself into drinking some liquid and did just fine!! I've been in the bathroom constantly so I must be losing the 10 pounds of Water weight I gained from the IV'S. My shower felt wonderful!!! How is everyone else doing?
  8. I'm here! I feel fantastic!!!!!
  9. I'm excited and nervous at the same time! I truly believe if this wasn't meant to happen I would have had hiccups with all the preop testing. But it has been smooth sailing! Ahhhh! It's really here!!

  12. Hi, I'm scheduled for my surgery this Monday. Having a terrible time with the protein shakes. I have tried Unjury and GNC I get them down then they come right back up! Tonight I decided to go through my paperwork for day before surgery list of what I am allowed to eat. As I looked I notices that the 2 week liquid diet does not have yogurt or oatmeal on it BUT the day before surgery it's on the list?? Does that make sense to anyone? I would be doing fine with my protein if I could be eating Greek yogurt!!! I called my doctors office but they are closed until tomorrow.
  13. Starting liquids today... Wish me luck! Any suggestions for survival?? Thx!

I should begin all my vitamins! My pre-op diet of liquids will start in 2 weeks. This process has been really easy for me I feel like it is meant to be! I can't believe it is really here!
