  1. Oh man had my first taste of what gas felt like. I never had issues after surgery but just went to purées and ate chilli tonight..oh brother..thank god for Gas x strips.
  2. Turkey meatballs and half a cup low carb Marinara 2 ounces pot roast with a couple of spoonfuls of Greek yogurt. I put in one quarter of a potatoe and some peas too. I made my own chilli and figured out the calories and servings and purée it with some Greek yogurt too. Pulled pork with barbecue sauce and Greek yogurt The possibilities are endless!!!
  3. Oh man...where's the popcorn??
  4. I have been in a stall the last 8 days. However take your measurements. Even though the scale hasn't moved an ounce I have lost three inches off my waist and four off my hips. So yes it is discouraging cause the scale isn't moving there is other things going on!
  5. That sounds so yummy!!! I made pot roast in the crock pot yesterday and puréed 2 ounces of meat with a potatoe and some peas with a couple of tbsp of Greek yogurt. Looked awful but omg did it taste good. I could only get in about an ounce but it was delish!!!
  6. Oh man...I took the dog for a walk this morning, bent over to pick up her um poop and man oh man..very sharp pain on my right side when I stood back up. Was in pain for a bit but now gone..watch out for those internal stitches stretching
  7. 15 days out and stalled at 223 for the last 5 or 6 days. Very frustrating especially when you follow the rules! This too shall pass!
  8. Yep vitamins daily and walking at least 30 minutes a day. I can't go very fast I keep getting this tugging feeling on my right side incision but I try my best. I know it will break just sucks it happened so freaking early
  9. I am 15 days post op and of all the things I already hit a stall. Been 223 for the last 5 or 6 days I am getting in all my liquids and protein I have lost 15 pounds..just discouraging to hit a stall this early, especially since I am only liquids.
  10. Body Fortress chocolate peanut butter protein powder! Mix with 8 ounces skim milk it is 230 calories and 34 grams of protein. Tastes awesome too!
  11. I am amazed by how much more I can drink now. I could barely get in an ounce in an hour at first. Now I can sip 8 ounces without a problem. Makes getting in fluids easier!
  12. I thought those protein shots have collagen protein instead of the whey isolate. From what I understand the collagen protein is not good for us nutritionally.
  13. I still can't wear jeans been out but wearing sweatpants.
  14. I would like the answer to this too. My boyfriend refuses to spend the night..keeps telling me I need up heal. Sleeved 2/12 and I feel great!!!

  16. The next time someone says it is the easy way out..ask them to put on a 100 pound backpack and wear it 24/7 for a week. I am betting none would make it past a day..maybe two.
  17. I was lucky and found a company that would rent the machine to me. I had to buy the mask, tubing and filter. I plan on returning it next week lol
  18. I was really surprised that I had to get a CPAP machine for the surgery when my AHI score on this test was a 6...just barely breaking mild. They told me without one I would have to stay in ICU where would monitor me closely.
  19. Ahhh the definition of insanity
  20. No problem! I had no idea about any of it. My surgeon explained it to me and I fact checked lol! I was never a big plain Water drinker so it didn't matter to me.
  21. There seems to be two types of reactions...one is you feel like you were on a roller coaster and you get that floaty stomach feeling. The second is if the drain is twisted around s bit it burns coming out. I was the second kind and the feeling lasted less than thirty seconds. It takes them all of like four to take the actual drain out. Don't fret!!! I also have a huge adverse reaction to pain but I promise it was not bad at all.
  22. Water has a high surface tension which means bad for sleeve. When you break the tension by mixing then sleeve likes
  23. I just noticed a red rash on my left side someone mentioned it might be an allergy to the dermabond glue
