All of my December sleevers...
- Sydney Gal Waiting On Surgery.
Hey Mini, I have identical numbers to you - 23 years old, 167 cms and i weighted 105 at time of surgery. my doc gave me the option of sleeve or band but i would never get the band a) all the vomiting. I've seen so many people vomit terrible and i would be scared of the burning of the osophegous 2) many of the people i have seen who have altered the band put on weight. I was sleeved 7 weeks ago and have lost 16 kilos. i have always been a slow loser but i feel amazing! i am getting so many compliments and i feel so good. its the best thing i have done. Feel free to ask my anything and id also love to her how you are coming along.- Its been a month!
Congratulations!!!Gorgeous ring! You'll make that weightless goal!- Sydney peeps! Who was your surgeon?
I had mine with Associate Professor Dr Reginald Lord. He works out of St Vincents Hospital. He is one of the original doctors who worked on the Sleeve. He is extremely kind and caring, and charges very reasonable rates. I've so far had excellent success with him. its worthwhile to go see him as well.- Who did you tell?
I have only told my immidiate family, parents and siblings, they came with me to the hospital and have been amazingly supportive. i have not told any friends and i don't plan on telling any. the ones that noticed I'm eating little i just told them its a new very strict diet and no ones raised any eyebrows.- All of my December sleevers...
Sleeved december 18th - down 20 pounds! I'm aiming for 22 before my first doc appointment.- Questions about diet 1 week out of surgery.
i had the surgery the same day as you and i have the same issue. everything i drink, except for Water, essentially goes down slow and will cause a type of bubbling in my stomach and eventual burping. When i had my barium leak test, the doc said results show that liquids go down very very slowly so I'm wondering if that might be my issue.- pain behind breast bone
i also had lots of pain there. for me it subsided after 4 days when the gas seems to have left the body.- Looking For Dec Sleevers Out There
Wow Belle!! incredible! I was sleeved on Tuesday, came home thursday night. As of now am feeling good. the area of my stomach feels heavy and the incisions hurt a bit but regular parecetemol is helping. haven't needed anything more since hospital. took me 4 days to get over the anaesthetic and the first day is a complete blur but i feel good and have lost almost 4 kilos (almost 8 pounds) in 4 5 days! and am under 100 kilos (219 pounds). its incredible how I'm not hungry and can survive on so little. Hopefully the weights will keep coming off!- Looking For Dec Sleevers Out There
