I called my insurance company and explained why my MD & surgeon thought the sleeve was best for me, after giving them the CPT code they reviewed my case and are going to cover my surgery. I'm just waiting on a certificate of coverage from our previous insurance company. Best of luck!

This is one of my biggest fears about the surgery, I drink almost a gallon of water a day and I hate to give that up.

Try baking a pork tenderloin in chicken broth, I'll bake these for my kids and they cut it with a fork

Wow! I never dreamed it could happen so fast! My insurance doesn't require a waiting period so I guess when I'm approved it will be a go.

After being told in December that my insurance would only pay for bypass they changed their polices in January and are now covering VSG! I have my first appointment the end of the month and my insurance doesn't require a waiting period. I'm nervous & excited
