  4. they are not good at all and it is mostly collegen and is not beneficial as a protein supplement, they might state 42 grams of protein but it is not If you look at the ingredients you will see that they are made primarily from collagen protein. Not only is this a significantly inferior form of protein to begin with (compared to whey or whey isolate), but -- more importantly -- they do not have the necessary amino acids to enable your body to absorb even the crappy protein that they do have very little protein and a lot of collagen. With that said I used them for the first 2 weeks and then stopped. Collagen protein does not benefit sleeve patients. We need whey protein.

  11. I used neosporin hydrocortisone anti itch cream. It is for eczema and it worked great on my incisions. They were red, itchy and a little scabby until I used it.

  17. I am from the Syracuse area. I am in the beginning phase. I have seen Dr. McDonald and Maria at community hospital. All these appointments and working full time is tough. I have finally made an appointment for the psychology evaluation. I have the nutrition class on Wednesday and then it should just be the surgeon from there. I attended a support group meeting in North Syracuse and I really liked it. Does anyone else go to the support meetings?
