March 9th Cancun Mexico @ Clinica Victoria Dr. Hector Perez

Hello Courtney! I got my passport last week on Friday. I paid for expedited service to have it renewed, and one week later it arrived. I was in shock because that was the fastest I have ever gotten a passport. Our surgeries are right around the corner! I hope to meet you in Cancun.

I have a few questions for those who already traveled to Cancun. Can anybody tell me if you need to exchange currency from US dollars to Mexican pesos or you just used visa/MasterCard? Also if you we're up for sightseeing or something was this on your own or did driver help out as far as taking you? I am looking for any advice you guys can give me like what should I bring etc....thanks!

I also kept second guessing myself! But I was able to great feedback from the people here, and on different forums who had surgery with him. I definitely think your making the right choice of going on your Cruise first then have your surgery. I plan on giving details of my journey so please do follow me.

After giving it much thought, and driving myself nuts with so many Doctor's to choose from in Mexico. I finally choose to have my surgery with Dr. Perez in Cancun. My surgery will be on March 9th.

It really was a tough decision, but since I am in Florida traveling to San Diego was like such a hassle. I really didn't want to spend all those hours traveling with connecting flights, and then crossing the border to Tijuana. Good luck to you too on your upcoming surgery!

I finally did it, and I booked my surgery for March 9th, 2013 in Cancun Mexico! Yikes....so nervous right now!

Hey Courtney! My boss finally approved my vacation time....hooray! Omg, I can't believe I am actually doing this...lol I am purchasing our plane tickets tonight! Yikes

Hooray for you! I just sent my passport out today also with an expedited service. Tomorrow I will speak with boss about my vacation time. I want to purchase my flight tickets, but I cant until I get the vacation approved. So frustrating!!!
