Just a question actually i found a recipe for watermelon sorbet which is really just frozen watermelon and Water blended till smooth. I had my surgery on the 17th just got out of the hospital today not doing bad, started rough i was on a pain pump that made ne really nauseous, probably because of the empty stomach, thank goodness for delaudin (sp?) Got a shot of that and finally started to turn around and was able to walk. Still not hungry really but find that sugar free fudgesicles are the best! I did come down with the flu while in the hospital so the coughing is making me miserable. But I braved the scale expecting gain of course and found that I lost almost 10 lbs already. So far so good, still feel like the next 6 weeks will be an eternity.

Omg totally. Only with dinners though I keep doing the "last meal" lol but try to be good the rest of the time. Lost about 5 pounds.and got a high five from the nurse today... i was like thats just a morning wee for me don't get ahead of yourself . :-)

I am scheduled for January 17th, I went for my ekg, upper gi, and blood work this morning and signed all the paperwork this is the first time I have felt like I'm really getting this. Yay me. :-) I am going through LePorts office in fountain valley ca they have been great. No liquid diet until the day before surgery again yay. Just can't wait until I am past recovery!
