  1. I read that (C25k) That's great! I'm on week one and I will be staying there for quite awhile! I'm not comfortable moving on until its easy for me.
  2. Was today your actual birthday? If so happy birthday!!
  3. Oops double post!!! On that note I like Oreos
  4. What makes me mad is thats the the food industry plays into the obesity problem in America and pushes crap off as an "healthier" alternative. And what makes me sad is that the average dumb American buys into it...
  5. NannieG I hope you like them! I put my low sodium lunch meat on them, tuna, hummus, you name it! Ms skinniness that's sucks that you can't eat them. They really help when I want some crunch.. It's funny today I was grocery shopping which by the way was hard when your fasting! There was a lady in the cracker isle she had all her kids reading the nutritional value on the "healthy" crackers and she was getting upset about all the carbs in them. I almost told her about the magic pops but my husband already thinks I'm crazy!! He would of thought I went off the deep end talking to a stranger at a grocery store about crackers . Ok fasting almost done for the night just have a 200 calorie dinner to whip up. I'm a boring eater, as long as its food I'm good. So with that I will have a turkey burger with veggies.
  6. Vicki, Please don't let all of this scare you. Everyone here is pulling for you and giving their experiences/ information. It may or may not apply to you. But the good news is that you are doing something about it! And I think looking into a second opinion is a good thing. It's something everyone should do when considering a surgery that you little information on.
  7. It's in her signature, her surgeon was Aaron Hoffman.
  8. Awesome to hear! I'm very excited for you! Can't wait to follow your progress Oh and I'm glad you like the crush
  9. Here's a link to amazon where I order them from. If you google "Kim's magic pop" their website will show you if the sell them by you. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and can't find them here I don't eat bread so these are a perfect substitute. 15 calories 3 carbs! Oh and I also just tried the hummus this morning made with Greek yogurt yum! http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007YURQVU/ref=pd_aw_sbs_gro_5?pi=SL500_SY115 pastas? breads? sweets?? None of it bothers me! I know there will be a dessert in my weekend somewhere
  10. Morning meal. I'm eating something that will stick with me a bit longer today for my first meal. Oh and still down 2 pounds. Way to go NannieG! 7 pounds!!
  11. Thursday already?? Good luck girls I will update later today about how is it going anyone else still doing it? @globetrotter breathe...... It's still a good life, take some time today and smile.
  12. Looking good girly!
  13. It probably would of been the same.... At 4 months mine started. Now at seven months it's stopped. I thought it was really noticeable but no one else seems to notice
  14. A ballpark is about a thousand so 150 sounds pretty low for a bariatric surgeon that does weight loss surgeries especially if you had yours done in 2010! So 150 since then?
  15. Wow.. That's a hard one And 150 procedures are not that much.... It might be worth traveling to see another doctor. I know I read one girl a couple of months ago that was being resleeved but her story was that the first doctor didn't take out enough of her stomach which was found out after she was scoped by another doctor... I'm tying to put myself in your shoes. If this was my only chance and there were no other doctors close by to "fix" it? I probably would sit down and demand a lot of answers to get me to a place of comfort, before I let him try again.
  16. No problem might take awhile... So it sounds like your doctor is being very honest in saying that he really didn't have the experience yet to form a proper sleeve? But that also sounds different to what you said about part of your band being left in?
  17. Oh and let's see if we can get this moved to the veterans forum... I noticed a lot of your old interactions are with people that are still around but are mostly on the veterans forum. Is that ok?
  18. I agree the triple posting gets confusing.... So please just cut it down to one. I just read some of your old posts:( it sounds like there has been a problem from the beginning. Is this the first time in all these years the doctor scoped you?
  19. Soon it will happen... This is my lunch meat and veg.....notice the tiny plate!
  20. Oh yeah who where we ignoring anyway??? Oh...was it someone who was a little country, literally????
