And also Modesto, ok cool yes i will keep that in mind, i was lookin at a Dr names Benjamin Shadle but he seems to not be on here as a surgeon.

Wow really lol, that gives me more hope. I m in Sacramento California and do you have Anthem BC through the Medi-Cal program or just Anthem BC it may be different.

Hey, Tamara Yea i have Medi-Cal through Anthem Blue Cross in California. But im just not sure i will get approved for surgery because i dont have all the pre reqs.. I dont have documentation that i have tried other diets etc to lose weight. But i am a candidate though. And HC HBP and Diabetes are in the family

Hey all, i was just wondering if anyone can answer my question. If i dont get approved by my insurance, and i won't be able to pay or save up by anytime soon. Can i still get a loan, i have bad credit am a student and have no job. What loans if any? Thank you

Same things im getting from my friends and family. I just block them out, i am doing this for me, to be here longer, be healthier and get to have energy to play with my children and be healthy for them, and teach them healthy habits also. they tell me its dangerous and this and that. ofcourse anything can happen. i just hope they pray for me and wish me all the luck, and help me through my journey.

I dont mean to be off topic, lol :/ But i was just looking through the replies and wanting to know, i havent had surgery yet. Still trying to get a referall, but after the surgery, is it a problem when you become pregnant, should you wait sometime? Also...I have extremly heavy periods to,and it is a pain the first 2 days, but i rather not do anything about it, definatley not a hysterectomy, i would like to have more children in the future once i am healthy and ready. And with the periods not being there, or off and on, could you still get pregnant without havin one that certain month? Thank You

Heyy!!! VGT If i have all the qualifications and most of the prereqs of the surgery, would they still want you to have the Medical Proof/Documentation that you have tried diets, and excercise before hand. Or will they still approve you without that?

Hey everyone in VST . I am here to get support and other Q and A and pros and cons about the Sleeve. I am actually farr very far from getting one, still have to prove that i need it throught medical reports of failing to lose etc. But my BMI is almost at 50! I am only 21 and have 2 youngs boys i need to be able to be healthy and have energy for them. I hope one day i will be able and approved to get the surgery, and get to my goal of being healthy me. Anyways if anyone knows about Anthem Blue Cross through Medi-Cal here in CA please let me know. I do not know for sure if they will approve me because i dont have any documentation of dieting and excercising. I still have to meet with my PCP and get a referral. Wish me luck
