    Solid Food And Pain

I'm six weeks out and as of about week five I have been able to eat without experiencing pain. I really think the pain is from all the healing that is going on on the inside...when you take in food (and for me even liquids) it starts your stomach working which brings on the pain. The good news is it really does get better.

    Hi Fellow Sleevers

Good luck on your journey. I'm almost four weeks post op and it really has gotten a lot better the last couple of days. Remember to take it one day at a time.

    Crazy Lortab Dreams

I had surgery on 10/9 and I still easily remember the crazy dreams I had while taking the lortab. Glad to hear that your pain is less. Good luck and hears to a little less craziness in your dreams
  4. I had the same problem until about day 20 post op...I guess we should count our blessings that we aren't constipated like a lot of people are If you have a lot of stomach cramping and the diarrhea just won't go away you should mention it to your surgeon. Good luck

1 Day To Go For Sleeve Surgery !

I only stayed two nights in the hospital but I did not even touch my bag one time. I brought books and magazines that came back home with me. The one thing that I asked my daughter for when my kids were there was to use her Chapstick, which she left with me. I had some in my bag but it was easier to use hers Good luck!!

    Bout A Month Post-Op!

Congratulations on your weight loss. I too had surgery on Oct. 9th. I lost 20 lbs. pre-op and as of today have lost 22.5 lbs. since surgery. I'm super happy with my total loss of 42.5 lbs. lost. I've already started fitting into some of my smaller clothes that had been boxed up. I just really wish that I would start sleeping through the night!!! I'm sure my low energy has a lot to do with not getting enough sleep.

    Going Bak To Work?

I had. Surgery on 10/9 and my original off work order is through Nov. 6th. I see my surgeon on Nov. 8th to get a final release and I know there is no way I am ready to go back to work so I plan on talking to my surgeon and saying I need 6 weeks. I have no idea how people go back a week or two after surgery. Good luck andI really hope your nausea gets better.
