Hi all...I was sleeved 11/7/12...day of surgery I was 229 & current weight 191..for a total weight loss of 38 lbs! I super pumped about that!! Good luck to everyone

I know how you feel... We are sleeved twins & today I not sure if I was hungry or just wanted to eat... But I am on clear liquids for the next 2 weeks and I think this may be harder than I thought... But we will over come this. Stay strong!

My surgery is scheduled for Nov 7th, my surgeon did not put me on a liquid diet for an extended period of time-is this normal? The only instruction I was given was to stay on a high Protein & low fat diet , then 2 days before only liquids..and nothing after midnight the night before. Is this normal? It seems everyone else is on some kind/version of the liquid diet. Did this happen to anyone else? I was thinking about just putting myself on a liquid diet(For the week) anyway... I want the best results possible. What do you all think? What would you do? Thanks in advance!! Dannysgil2003

Today is finally here and I am excited and a little nervous. I'm not sure if I thought this day would ever come! I am excited to start this new journey to a better quality of life! Please pray for me and I will be in touch shortly after surgery! Thanks !!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to update after surgery... But everything went well! I came home on yesterday and I have been relaxing. I must say that I haven't been in a lot of pain...which is surprising! I do however have one problem... I hate the way the the Proteins makes my drinks taste & how thick it makes them. I really am excited about this journey !! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I am scheduled for surgery Wednesday the 7th and I getting a cold. Everyione around me has a cold and I am catching it. I have been taking Tyneol cold every 4 hours to try and fight it...but it doesn't seem to be getting any better....will they still do my surgery? Im worried? I dont have a fever or anything...just a little nasal congestion??? What do you guys think?
