I was sleeved on the 18th of December I will be leaving the hospital today # Im hoping# The first night was extremely painful I mean it was unbearable and the nurse staff couldn't seem to find an antidote for my pain I didn't get "a pain pump inserted either" ???why I don't know?? but my Dr decided to give me "Ketorolac" and Lorazapam seeing that the morphine didn't glad that this combination worked I'm feeling great #I know this is a bit of T.M.I.but I can't seem to "pass gas" my Dr keeps telling me that I have to, its just not happening...' oh well now I'm just waiting to be released by my Dr because I'm ready to go home now!   5. My surgery is tomorrow 12/18 happy to begin the new year with a healthier me!

  7. @ nvkeva2 that's funny I do the same thing as well, funny I try to visualize my look as a ... Let's say 6 and my mind is like "could you really do that" lol glad to know that I'm not the alone on this one lol .My surgery is December 18th ready but a little nervous how about you?

Anesthesiologists appointment tomorrow surgery on December18th on liquid diet until then, having mixed emotions right now, I'm more then happy about the surgery b/c this journey has been long awaited but the reality is... I'm fearful of not seeing my children again :'( my prayers are simple tonight; Father God protect me as I go through this journey help me to indure a little if any pain, let this surgery be a success help me to fully and quickly recover and pls..... God deliver me safely back home to my babies and my love ones.This prayer I pray for everyone who's surgery day is approaching.Amen.

  11. So I said that I would keep everyone updated well.... Im happy to announce that my surgery day is December 18th I couldnt be more ecstatic long time coming. Everyone else who's still waiting for "that day/surgery day or even your approval" to come be patient stay positive and it will come !!! Signed Happy Camper.
  12. @ 1FabulousDiva Thank you for wishing me the best, No not really nervous a little concerned about the "unknown" that comes with surgery but ultimately no worries. Ive been told that my pre-op diet will be a "liquid meal plan" consisting of meal replacement shakes like Carnation Instant breakfast,Slim Fast, Ensure , Boost, and Gluecerna limit to 1000-1200 calories a day and to consume only 64 oz of calorie free, caffeine free beverages each day. This will occur 7-10 days before surgery day at which I haven't received notice yet I will be told or giving surgery day on November 28th. I'll share date as soon as its told to me!!!   13. Tired of being the size that was genetically giving ready to be the size that I feel i should be because I know that It better suits me. Lets make a stand to a healthier you, I'm in your corner and willing to be buddies with anyone who's ready to take a stand we all can do it!!! :wub:
  14. So excited!!! Completed all test and all requirements, last pre-op visit with Dr. Lin to find out surgery day will be November 28th. Cant wait I'll keep you all posted!
  15. Getting Sleeved by Dr. Lin haven't been giving an exact date yet I should know soon, anyone been sleeved by Dr. Lin at Emory Midtown?
