  1. 25 days to go! Surgery date: 11/20/12 Surgery weight: 268 Current weight: 254 Goal weight by Christmas: 234 (20 pounds!) We can do it!,,
  2. My surgery was on the 20th. Right now I'm just make sure I get enough protein and walk enough. I have found that I'm hungrier than I thought I'd be. I'm thinking that will stop once I move to puréed foods. I guess that because the liquids are passing through the sleeve easily I can't keep full. Anyone else have issues with hunger?
  3. I got my approval yesterday! I actually had to call my insurance company directly because my patient rep never, ever returns my calls! But wanted to pass on the good news. Surgery is on the 20th- 2 weeks!
  4. I'm having my surgery at the reading hospital too ! With meyers though. The date is set for November 20th. It hasn't been approved by insurance yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Any pre op or post op tips?
  5. My surgery is quickly approaching, although I am still waiting on final approval from my insurance company, I am trying to stay optimistic. I'm wondering if all of the post-op sleeve patients could tell me about their experience and what they learned that they wish they had known before surgery. Thanks! Ashley
