  1. If I have to drink one more protein shake I'm going to lose it! I never thought I'd crave carrots, but I'm longing for something I go an actually feel in my mouth. I'm 4 days post op and doing ok. Like a lot of you, I'm having a hard time getting my two protein shakes in. I'm focusing on liquid count so that I don't get dehydrated. Now this is kind of yucky, but I've yet to have a BM. Last one was Tuesday. Is that normal. I was also feeling a little blue today thinking I'll never be able to enjoy a real meal again, but I keep telling myself that I will eventually be able to eat real food, just in much smaller portions. I've seen some of you post that your all liquid diet allows cream soups and pudding. Is that something I could add. I think this would be so much easier if I could add something savory. I've never been much of a sweet tooth so the sugary sweet shakes are really annoying.
