Any Charlotte Nc Sleevers?
Hi Kmoore! I am also having surgery through Dr. Pirrello. I am brand new. I won't see surgery until at least 6 months. How has your experience been with Dr. Pirrello so far? My first meeting with him went very well and he made me feel very comfortable about the procedure. I hope you don't mind if I add you as a friend.

Small Steps To Big Goal
Thank you! I need all the friends that I can get that understand what I am about to go through. I am located in Charlotte, NC. My family knows that I am having surgery and they are all very supportive. I told one of my best friends and she is supportive but she feels like I could still do it on my own. I haven't told my other best friend yet because she doesn't believe in anything that alters your body. She doesn't even believe in birth control. I am just not ready for the criticism. I just got comfortable with the idea of having surgery.

Thank you... I already know the exercise and eating right part. I just need that extra push and I think this surgery is just what I need

Small Steps To Big Goal
In my many failed attempts at losing weight. I always swore off surgery. I felt like if I had surgery I was a failure. Now I realize that having surgery doesn't mean that I am a failure or that I am looking for a way out. It means that I am taking control of my life. I know there are only good things from here on out.

Small Steps To Big Goal
Hello everyone, So I got a call from my doctor's office yesterday and they called to schedule my upper GI... I know this doesn't seem like much but for me that call put this in reality. I am really going to have surgery in the next 6-7 months. I am really going to achieve my goal of being healthier and happier. I know that to some people it was just a phone call but for me this is the start of my new life. I just had to share my excitement with everyone. Thanks for tolerating my ramblings. Lol!
