My daughter stayed for 48 hoours after surgery. I know Dr. Macik only do surgeries on Wednesdays. He is a very reserved man (quiet). When did you have your surgery.

It`s good to see that you are getting your walks in, I watched some YouTube videos where some people developed blood clots because they didn't get enough walking in for circulation. Take it easy , and don't rush things.

I love Dr. Macik!! He performed the rou-n-y gastric bypass on my 19 year old daughter. She is doing great and lost 109 pds. since May 30th.

Pre-op is December 10th

They told me to do a low carb diet. eggs, lean meat, vegetable, yogurt, etc. I can have crystal light, mio, or any sugar free drinks.

December 12th here. I received cardiac, pulmonary, and upper gi clearance. Yay!!!! I just have pre-diet left to complete.

Who do you have for insurance? I called my insurance to check up on the progress and they approved me within 24 hours.

Today, I received my cardiac, pulmonary, and upper GI clearance to proceed with surgery. Yay!!! Surgery date, December 12, 2012. Anyone else scheduled for that day. My surgeon is Dr. Macik in Atlanta, Ga.

My Dr. Office submitted mine yesterday and I got approved today. Yay!!! Surgery date is December 12th.

Congrats ladies for your surgery dates...... My daughter had RNY by Dr. Macik on May 30 and she has lost 100 pds. He is a great Dr. And I am looking forward to my approval and sleeved. Now I have to get...pulmonary....cardiac.....upper GI clearance, then surgery date. I will start the new year off.
