  1. I understand. But I think weight is a factor, because I used to have flairs in the summer and the heat. I have not had any sice surgery. I hope it is that way for you too.
  2. I had surgery May 15. I have not had a flair since surgery. I reached goal at 6 months. So I have a normal bmi now.
  3. I had this diagnosed prior to surgery. I take a antibiotic at the irate sign of a flair. Usually within a day it subsides. I usually continue to take it for a day or two more to ensure that it is gone away. Minocycline is used to treat a wide variety of infections, including acne. This medication belongs to the class of antibiotics known as tetracyclines. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (e.g., common cold, flu). Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness. I don't mind answering questions.

  18. I know how y'all are feeling. I am 4 months out but the weight is dropping off! I am over 75 down and 20 from goal. My husband and family says I should stop this weight loss already. They are approaching me continuously that they are concerned and I should stop it now. I am feeling healthier than I have felt in many years. I understand that the weight went quicker than I could have ever imagined. But I did not lose weight because of others. This was about me and my health. When I am approaching goal I will look into slowing or stopping and maintaining. I am just going to remind them - this is about ME! Blessings ~ Melody (BlessedFun2)
