  1. My surgeon's assistant told me the left side pain will usually last up to a month. He also said it had to do with the main incision as well as internal stitches within the abdominal wall. Hope you feel better soon!

  5. Surgery day is almost here! I'm so excited. In fact, more excited than nervous. My surgery will take place at 10:15 a.m. tomorrow, October 29th. Yay! I've lost 18 lbs pre-op so far, and I figure I'll lose 1 or 2 more lbs by tomorrow morning from being on this liquid diet. I figure that is a good start to my new way of life. Best wishes to all of you who will be sleeved soon as well!
  6. I started my liquid pre-op diet on Monday morning. I've dropped 7 lbs in 2 days! I have followed the diet as directed and I'm getting in all of my protein and clear fluids... But, I am feeling somewhat weak and shaky, especially in the morning time. Yesterday, it subsided once I had a protein shake and some sugar free jello. It is the same today. Just curious, does anyone else experience weakness and shakiness while on the pre-op liquid diet?
