Wow u look amazing how inspiring! My surgery is dec 6th.....very nervous, second guessing myself sleeve vs bypass. Some "friends/family" think I won't get desired outcome with sleeve.... However I was quite confident until now :-/ any advice???

Oh my gosh yes!!!!!! I'm also in healthcare my sleeve is 11/29 and I am soooo nervous that I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack :-/ everyone has been so reassuring and I have a great support team but I'm still freakin out!!!

I just learned my surgery date... 11/29. I will begin 3 2 1 diet for 7 days then protein sparing for 5 days just prior to surg. The anticipation is killing me.... Not quite sure how I'm going to get thru this. My greatest fear was of the physical aspect of the surgery now the pre-op diet as well! I'm trying to stay focused but its getting harder and harder.....don't want to fail!

Sparky, it awesome to meet such great and motivating people. I have very enthusiastic days and others were that scary feeling sets in...but none the less I'm 100% sure that this is going to be the beginning of my healthy life style. I'm 42 yrs old( just b-day 18th lol) went to see my orthopedic surgeon on the 18th where he told me my knees were loaded with arthritis ... Can barley walk. He's confident that with this bariatric surgery I will regain my strength and be as active as I should be.... Can't wait!! Waiting for call from surgeon with surgery date.... All pre-ops done. Will keep u posted.... Thanks again

Midstate.... Very comfortable with my surgeon but still very nervous

I'm also having surgery next couple of weeks. I'm so nervous/anxious.... I've had surgery before but for some reason I'm scared........I've lost 20 lbs on my own since September. Flood of emotions :-/

Yes... I guess it's to check oxygenation in the blood..

Blood test drawn from artery vs vein...

Scared to have blood gases drawn... Heard horror stories regarding pain!!
