  1. My household is lactose intolerant as well and I buy either Lactaid milk or just recently purchased the Walmart brand of Lactose Free Fat Free milk. Made some SF lemon pudding with it and it turned out delicious!
  2. I am praying it does! It's about to drive me crazy!
  3. I wish I had this problem, seriously! I am 7 days post op and ever since I got home I have had the opposite happen, diarrhea every day! Imodium only helps temporarily, not enough to warrant even taking it :-(. Just started my week of full liquids and praying it stops this week!
  4. You are so not alone! Today makes a week since my surgery and I want REAL food soooo bad! It's hard fixing supper for my family and not even being able to sample it. Between the pre op diet and this week on Clear Liquids I am wondering if I am going to survive another week!
  5. 5 days post op and just wanted to say all is well! I have lost a total of 11 lbs and praying they keep falling off:-). I had a very pleasant experience at Star Medica with Dr. Rodriguez. The facility was state of the art and the staff was excellent. Better treatment than I have ever received here in the states. I'm not gonna lie the first two days were hell. I literally felt like I had swallowed a basketball until the morning I flew home. Didn't sleep hardly at all cause I just couldn't get comfortable which I guess was ok cause it made me walk (pace) the floors. Anyway, hope everyone else is doing well!
  6. Just wanted to wish everyone well that will be traveling/getting sleeved the next few days! I for one am sooo nervous! I have been busy today packing, doing laundry, cleaning, finishing up homework for my online classes, etc. and I have already cried once at the thought of leaving my beautiful little baby girl. Praying for God's protection for us all and for our children and families as we are separated for a few days...and God please push Hurricane Sandy on out and away from making landfall in the US. That is the last thing I want to be worrying about while I am in Mexico away from my children is a hurricane!
  7. I will definitely let you know how it goes! One week from today...I am getting so nervous! I can't stand the thought of leaving my 4 year old for a few days...
  8. Hello everyone! I know this next week is going to go by so fast. I am leaving for Mexico next Thursday, surgery Friday! My question is this..I called Verizon today and was told that to use my cell phone to call my children it would cost 99 cents per minute and it cost 50 cents per text. I am going to Star Medica in Juarez, MX which is very close to the boarder. I can live without internet but I can't go a day without talking to my kids! Has anyone purchased an international calling card off the internet? If so which company? Any advice or suggestions would greatly be appreciated
  9. I am scheduled with Dr. Rodriguez at Star Medica on Oct. 26th. I am nervous and excited! Good luck to you!
  10. Hello all! I am new to this site and this is my first post. I am getting sleeved on Oct. 26 with Dr. Rodriguez at Star Medica in Ciudad Jaurez , MX. Anyone else going there?
