Wish the weight loss would stop now!
Can you up your carbs to where you start gaining and then hold it there? That is what I worry about to, my Dr. wants me at 150 but honestly I think I'd look sickly at that weight. I'd be happy with 180.

why NO to water?
If you drink beforehand, it takes up space in your stomach so you can't eat as much. If you drink during or right after it'll help wash the food out of your stomach so you're not "full" as long and will tend to eat more often....that is if you're hungry at all. I'm never hungry anyway, so I don't have to worry about that.... yet.

Answers please...
If your Dr. and/or Nut tells you it is. Follow their advise, just because others can eat more at this point than you doesn't mean they have the same issues you may have. Your starting weight, medical conditions, etc..all play a role. Just hang in there, once you're past the liquid phase it'll be a distant memory. It's all part of the process to the new, improved you. Good luck!

Surgery tomorrow morning!
Good luck to you and I hope you have a quick and smooth recovery. Keep your focus on the end goal, not the little sucky things in the middle.

Post-Op 21 Days - Sick and Tired
I'm surprised you're at 1200-1500 calories a day at 21 days out. My nut told me to stay at 600-700 calories and I'm one month out tomorrow. At 3 months out, depending on my weight loss, she said she may increase me to 900 calories a day. I know every Dr. has their own rules, but 1200 calories is more what you'd do for maintenance. And as the earlier poster said, take measurements because you will lose inches while you're in a stall.

4 weeks post op today... :(
Have you tried warm, cold and room temp drinks? Maybe you just need to find the right one you can tolerate and drink as much as possible. I find decaf iced tea is much easier for me to drink alot of then plain water. I'm a month out tomorrow and still only getting in about 32 oz. a day of liquids...but no dehydration yet (knock on wood). Hope things improve for you. Great job on the weight loss. I hope to see that same number tomorrow

6 weeks out today and back in the game.
Good for you for having that ah hah moment. At least it didn't take you 6 months to realize you have to make a new normal. Glad you're back on the wagon and hope your loss picks up. Good luck!
