Congrats jayne,the funniest thing after surgery for me was ...i thought i was having a heart attack i freaked out,and everything come to find out it was gas lol, soifeel you on the gas pains,i wish i had a catheter put in,

Vitale .It works trust me i just started eating protein lean turkey,chicken sliced deli meat omg 2 bites of a sandwich or maybe 3 im done and full but im hungry in the next 1 or 2 hrs.i lost 20lbs so far so it works congrats to u also

Tamara thank you for responding,congrats to u as well,i am sooooo excited for myself cause i tried so hard to.get to this.point and yesssssss the scale is moving down for me also.2wees post.op and i feel greeeaaattttt...how much weight have u lost so far if.you dont mind answering???

Hello my.new existing family, i have been overweight for years as a child into the young lady I am now,up until the life changing event that has taken on oct.8 2012 and i am 2weeks post-op. I am,new to this forum,25 yrs old and i have one daughter any one with a similar story let.me know...congrats to you all.

Im having a hard time also i find myself cheating,i just got into the mushy stage and im just.binge eating,i.know.im gonna stop ,but i find myself eating alot of sugar free candies(hard and chewy) ,chewing on sugar free gum and spitting it out after flavor is gone,i think im getting into the depresses mode as far as I know im not satisfied right.now,im.a failure,and of course.no support from my so called fiance...im only 1 week post op,,,i need help please.pray.for me,no.negative replies either its.just.gonna.make it worse...

Whenever i eat it sounds like my stomach is gurgling,or gas bubbles is this a sign.of a leak or just gas or dumping syndrome??

Omg best of luck,my prayers go out to you,,,how would i.know if.i.have a leak?

Its amazung how i sit here and read.,i.thought i.had a real friend ,but i learned very quickly..ive been there for her.numerous times even when she was out having surgery..ny last day if work was fri oct 5,i didnt get a goodbye,a hug or anything even that whole weekend,my surgery was10/8 and never got a phone call,ir hospital visit in that day,or prior day,,i was released from the hospital that thurs.she sent a text.that night saying how u feel,but.i.ignored,and no calls/visits over.the weekend either,so its a wake up call to me ...i know who my true friends are it has shown

Hello my fellow sleevers,i was sleeved 10/8/12 and i just finishesld my full liquid phase into my soft and mushy,i.just wanted to know how long will it take me to.actually.feel the.full effect,i.mean after all these liquids.im consuming i should.be.full some how when.i was told.my.new stomach only holds about 3/4oz of food,is this something.i.need to explain to.my dr? Is this normal since it.just happen?? Or.has.something gone wrong ?plz help im getting real worried.thanks

Ive hadthis pain since the day ofsurgery,,it cant be a leak cause i.had the upper gi test done the2nd day after.the surgery,is it gas that is trapped?? Or.should i call my surgeon?? Anyone else can relate???

Hello...i just got sleeved 10/08 wow,i actually thought i was,the,only one havingthis type of surgery lol..i am 25 yrs old mystarting weight was 430lbs,and i dropped down to 380 before surgery,in the pre op diet i lost 10lbs of water weight,on the day of surgery i was 373,im 7 days post op and haventweighed myself since my discharge from hospital,although i did gain 5lbs i the hospital from fluids.... So wil see how imcoming along...congrats to u all and may god bless you in your wonderful life comitted journey...

I am 6days post op and this liquid is gettingt tiresome,im so hungry my stomach is eating of my butt...lol...today i did eat some chicken noodle soup? Is that to early or should i eat the way i think i can handle without dr permission??

I actually cheated.3 x but i when i cheated,it was.all protein can you say tgif boneless wings,as.long as.your on track,at least.doing 7/10 days your fine...and i told my surgeon i.cheated.before.surgery and i had my.surgery

Hello to all,i am 5 days post op,and I.feel so hungry,besides the.all liquid diet and the protein shakes arent.giving me enough,but I.will admit today I did eat one pce of a popcorn with no kernells(puff n corn)..that tasted very good.but I was in wrong for doing a.binge eating,although it wasnt healthyi.felt as if i can go ahead.to phase 2 or.should i jus wait until my.next appt 10/17..has anyone cheated on there post op after.surgery????
