Maybe instead of only one dose a day break it in half and then take it 2 x a day that way? Just lay low for a few days. Hope you feel better soon!- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
I had diarrhea too but it didn't last long. Are you still on pain meds? Maybe just take it until the pain subsides and just relax for a day or so and try to increase fluid intake as your loosing fluid through the loose stools- Attention February 2013 Sleeve Buddies!

For those of you who can drink more at a time here is a nice protein drink that reminds me of iced coffee: 1 1/2 tbsp instant decaf coffee 1/4 c s/f creamer (I used caramel miachiatto (sp) 1 scoop protein (called for chocolate, I used vanilla) 1 packet truvia or sweetner 8 oz water (that's what I use for my protein drinks***recipe called for skim milk) And 8-10 ice cubes It made 12 oz of drink. I'm sure you can change up quantities- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved

I hate fish! Tonight I made some and thought it smelled good and I tried it....OMG it was so good! I took cod fillets(more brick looking kind that I buy frozen) mixed freshly grated asiago cheese and mixed with lemon/pepper, cayenne pepper (dash), smoke paprika, garlic and fresh ground pepper and then on the dry fillets I rubbed a tad of olive oil and then topped with the cheese mixture and baked at 350º for 30 min. DELICIOUS And everyone loved it- February Sleevers
Lol made me laugh I think it says still kinda out of it and... sire? But I'm hoping you feel better soon (:- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved

I made tuna fish like this but uaed plain greek yogurt and it was tasty- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
Yes that is why I have tried them without pureeing them and it was fine. I just dont like them any more period lol! I had my 2 week post op appt and my NUT said you are blending everything right? I said yes but if the foos is mushy enough I am not! I'm passed this stage lol. Tonight I am having parmesan crusted cod. I refuse to blend that! I will be taking small small bites and chewing until mush. I am very careful what I'm eating as I do not want to hurt my new tummy- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
My ninja! It was gross looking! I scrambled them first then blended them and put ketchup on them. Just the texture grossed me out. So then today I tried egg whites and ate them as normal..... still NASTY. I am done with eggs ha- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
I developed an adversion to eggs since I had to puree everything. I made a packet of tuna fish, plain greek yogurt, and hot pickles and blended it and then I froze them in ice cube tray and they are ready to eat sizes. Also I have done soups. Those work the same way. Also I have eaten a lotnof yogurt, cottage cheese and used to eggs lol Good luck- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved
It was for me! I was miserable. I took gas x with no relief. Walking and drinking as much as you can helps. I used a heating pad on my stomach 24/7. And took stool softner and benefiber type meds. And I think it was 3-4 days after I got home and all let loose but man did it finally feel good. I still has gas pain after that too but it was more managable. So all I can say is keep pushing through it will get better.- FEBRUARY SLEEVERS 2013....how you doing after you've been Sleeved

I am 2 weeks out today and I had refried beans the other day ( I'm on pureed or mushy) since day out of the hospital and let me tell you..... they sat in my stomach like a pound of bricks. They didn't agree with me at all. Does that make you feel better tee hee. But foods do make a dfference to feeling better- February Sleevers
