September 26 was my 1 yr surgiversary!!! I can't believe how quickly the time has passed and what an amazing journey this is.. I went from 250 being my heaviest to 235 day of surgery to 147 as of today.. I have lost a total 103lbs and I'm not looking for them ever again.. Hi I was sleeved on 9-26-12 all was fine until about 10 days post op.. Suffered from dehydration... While in hospital was told I have gastritis and gerd... Anyone had any complications? How do you deal with so much acid? Janie (sent from my iPhone using VST)

I'm currently in hospital bc of that I'm suffering from dehydration.. Anything I eat or drink goes right through me.. I'm only 14 days post op.. So I'm still on liquid diet.. Any advice how to stop it? Janie (sent from my iPhone using VST)

Update on my story.. I was doing really well up until friday night.. Started feeling very weak.. Started with diarrhea Saturday continued until Sunday which by then I ended up in hospital... I was dehydrated, potassium and magnesium levels low, low BP, a lot of acid, burning sensation and pain... Been in hospital since then... Drs were concerned bc i lost 30lbs in 10 days.. is this normal? Going home today and need advice.. How does everyone keep hydrated. My surgery was in Mexico so I was wondering What vitamins are suppose to be taken? Feeling a bit discouraged but not giving up.. Any advice? Thank u in advance Janie (sent from my iPhone using VST)

Hi everyone... I'm a 28yr old 5'10 gal.. some days im over 6'... I also hope my heels will stay on longer than 1hr soon... I was sleeved on 9-26-12 weighing 235... 2 days ago went to my first post-op appointment and I was down 15lbs... I was at a painted size 20.. And hoping to be a size 10... Hi everyone... I was sleeved on 9-26-12... Also had hernia repaired... stopped taking pain mes 2 days after surgery.. thank goodness no complications.. i had my first follow up yesterday and I've lost 15lbs... Starting to walk tomorrow...
