  1. I was sleeved 3-18-13 and I was 258 the day of surgery and 237 as of 4-20-13. So that's 21lbs in a month I don't think that's slow and so far I have exercised 3 times.
  2. Hi I'm 5"10 sleeved 3/18 pre op 268 currently 242 Hw ever 301 weight beginning this journey 285.
  3. Try using one of those on the go tumblers that have a slit in them to drink out of then you don't have to smell the protein drink and try Nectat or Chike they are both really good.
  4. We were told to take B12 sublingual everyday, a Multivitamin, Calcium citrate, and Actigall for 6 months to prevent gallstones.
  5. I am 5'10 in June I was 285lbs. before surgery got to 268lbs. after 2 week preop diet 258lbs. currently 244lbs. I will be 1 month out on the 18th of April. My NUT told me that I should weigh 150lbs. also, I was thinking 175lbs., but I know that I would like to be the farthest away from 200lbs. that I can be. So I am going to try for 150lbs. but I don't want to look like a stick.
  6. When were you sleeved? I am 4 weeks post op and since I have been doing more after my 2 week visit - went back to work this week, I have been having pain there also. Yesterday I wore my abdominal binder to work and felt pretty good for the first day back, today I didn't put it on until 5 1/2 hours into my day and I could tell the difference I was feeling pain.
  7. I puréed everything except the eggs, cottage cheese, and the Babybel
  8. Try a stool softner or Milk of Magnesia worked for me the first time. Do you think it is the sodium in the foods that is causing us to see an increase on the scale?
  9. Chili, tortilla soup- Costco's. mini Babybel cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, chicken salad, tuna salad
  10. How many of you March sleevers saw an increase in your weight when you moved from full liquids to puréed foods?
  11. Yeah because when you start eating food you might see an increase on your scale like I did!
  12. Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter!
  13. After reading John's post I have to say I'm not a food addict. I like sweets way to much and would eat them in the place of real food. Because of my fondness of sweets I probably should have gotten the RNY but didn't like the malabsorption issues or the dumping associated with it. I was hoping that I would have a severe adversion to sweets after the surgery - unfortunately I do not. So yes I have a problem!
  14. To me they don't have that weird whey protein taste.
