  6. I'm 5'4" at 300lbs now lost 38lbs so far and my BMI is 52 I don't really like the doctor doing my surgery cause he never has time for me to ask question's but he has never tried to talk me out of having the sleeve and I'm going to be having my surgery on October 17th And I told my doctor from the get go I want the sleeve also u may want to get a new doctor before u have surgery cuz by them pushing u so hard to get the bypass it seems to me he may need up giving u an unwanted bypass
  7. I have no support from my "family" and I'm ok with that. Cause this is about me and doing what is best for me. My biggest reason for having the surgery is my birth daughter, whom I gave up for adoption when she was 3½ years cause I wanted her to have better then I felt I could give her I have not seen here sense she was 9½ and I know one day she will come looking for me and I want to be here also I'm the caregiver for my dad and I want to be able to take care of him when he really needs me more then he does now
  8. I find out last thurday that I am going to be having my surgery on October 17th and I go for my pre op on October 2nd can't wait but at the same time I'm scared to death that something may go wrong also I'm having to go on a protein shake/liquid diet for 6 weeks (3 weeks before and 3 weeks after) I know a few things I can eat like chicken booth,sf jello, popsicles, yougurt,sf pudding and of couse water does anyone know what else I eat?
