Starting to really miss eating food.....had my sleeve 9/18. It is good to read these posts, as I don't feel so abnormal now. Really getting sick of all the water I have to drink. Damn food commercials on tv don't help. Plus I cooked for my significant other today....had to keep my mouth closed. At least someone in our house had a great meal today.

Yeah for me....finally pooped this evening. Have been getting my water in and walking several times a day ....think I covered 2 miles today...in four walks. My little dog is happy that he is getting taken out for walk more . To all of you that are having emotional ( crying ) episodes....this is a post op thing after anesthesia. Just go ahead and get it out of your system. I still burping a lot. Glad I found this thread to have the emotional and knowledge support of others going through similar things as me. Praying for all of us!!

whew ! 3 days post op abd still burping every time I drink water.

Hello everyone. I am post op 3 days now....the big surprise for me was all the burping I have been doing. Drinking my water seems to make it worse....but my doc insists on 64oz daily. It has been hard to do as it feels so tight to swallow....takes me hour or more for one bottle of water. Have managed some protein soup yesterday....the center sells it. I am glad I found this board. A girl in support class mentioned it was fabulous for information and support.
