  3. Thanks to everyone for the helpful replies! I thought that I was tired because of being busy plus heavy, so I was interested to discover about the low iron & vitamin D. I have heard anemia can make you tired. I will have to get back into the doctor.
  4. So I just started my weight-loss journey but on my initial consult visit I found out that I had h pylori bacteria. Then, when I got my blood test results I discovered I wad severely anemic and my vitamin D was very low. I never had problems like this before, so was curious if anyone else had discovered anybof these health issues pre-surgery?
  5. At least you were brave enough to try to ride. I have always been afraid to do any rides like that. Last year I went tubing and it was so hard to get in and out of the tubes. I was so slow through the rapids because I was so heavy, then my tube over-turned and I was stuck upside down! It was a bit dangerous.
  6. How strange! Maybe she just tends to have a lot of anxiety and "cares by worrying". It doesn't help when you are already nervous enough already. I have had a lot of mixed reactions: mostly people saying, "Why don't you just try watching your weight first?" Hmmmmm....never thought of that!!! Invasive surgery just looked like fun.....But seriously I am very nervous. I am just more worried about having a heart attack way before my time.
  7. I have wondered about this. I know my bf loves me at any size, but I bet I will get more attention when we go out or when I go out with my gfs. I guess it is only natural; but it sort-of makes me think of people as shallow.
  8. I am an hourglass at 237 and I am 5' 4". My weight is all spread out. I hope to lose around 90 lbs. Hope to still be an hourglass.
  9. I am scared too. I have three children: 9,7, &5. I am divorced from their father due to abuse and infidelity issues on his part. He lives 200 miles away and has a very up & down life style. Their lives would be ruined if something happens to me. But, I feel like I might not live very long at this size because now I am having so many medical problems.
