  1. Glad to find this forum for AA sleevers. I heart everyone too but delighted to find another support system. I'm getting sleeved this upcoming Thur Sep 27 and am so excited about what lies ahead for me!
  2. Yes, he's doing my sleeve this upcoming Thur. So far I've been impressed with him and his staff. Very caring people and I love that some of his staff have been in our shoes! Which hospital did you go to for your surgery?
  3. Forget to include that I'm using Bariatric Advantage strawberry protein for pre op diet but had also experimented with Nectar flavors and a few Jay Robb flavors.
  4. There are plenty of us late Sept sleevers :-) I'd love to hear about what you all are doing to add variety to you protein drinks. So far I've experimented with unsweetened almond milk, SF vanilla creamer, Splenda/trivia and ice. When I can I will use the Magic Bullet to blend.
  5. Thank you Sara for sharing your story. You are truly an inspiration to me. Congratulations on your success and most importantly on gaining confidence!! Is your dr the Dr. Castro from NBS?
  6. I'm scheduled for the sleeve on 9/27. I'm 266 & 42.5 BMI. My surgeon is Dr. Castro and my surgery will be done at Forest Park Medical Center. Like many I have lost and then gained it all back plus some. I'm excited about using the surgery as a tool to get my life back!!
  7. Clear liquids is clear protein drink (Isopure is the only one I know of besides unflavored protein added to water). SF jello, SF Popsicles, and broth. And of course water. I think you can still use Crystal light (or whatever brand you use).
  8. Surgery on 9/27. 37y/o 5'6, 266 pre op. goal 170-175. Been on pre op liquid diet since Wed ... 4 more days!!!
