  1. @ Summer,I totally understand what you are going through. Its like my worst fear came true. The fear of being that one, who surgery didnt work for. It has been over a year and my total weight loss has been 65 lbs. Some may say Great that's awesome. But to me its very disappointing. At first I thought I was a slow loser but now I just feel like a loser. To go through so much for so little just seems to frustrate me. I wish that I could have come on and given you words of wisdom. But im here to say "You are not alone".

  3. You're absolutely right Ore. Since my post I have gotten some great uplifting responses. And I thank those who have helped me look at this in a more positive light. So im officially 60lbs down now. Lol unless the scale is playing tricks on me.
  4. I think you are right itstheamerie. You master anything once you've had training. So ill look at it like this im training myself to eat healthier, work out and condition my mind as well as my body. Its just gonna be a longer training course lmao. I was very discouraged but with everyone's post im getting it together. This is something I want, so im gonna get it.
  5. Newgrandmother, thank you my dear for sharing. And you might just be right because I have been following the high protein low carb diet and im still losing slow. Someone else mention muscle weight, I think I may be in the category of a person with more muscle weight then fat as I was never a person who wasn't solid u was just a big solid lol.
  6. I dont know how to feel anymore. 57lbs in 7months. Im not happy about it. I try to stay motivated, but its really stressing me out. I need pointers on how to kick this thing into over drive.
  7. If I go by the percentages I still haven't lost 60% of what I needed to lose. Would it be fine to go back to basics? Im not sure. But at this point I really do want to try, but im seriously discouraged.
  8. @Amazon13 No at 7months I lost a total of 56lbs. No I have not given up. But yes, definitely feel defeated.
  9. My weight loss has definitely not improved. I think that I am not gonna lose anymore my journey was an epic fail to me 56lbs with everything id put myself thru.
  10. Well its now almost 7 months and only 56lbs. So can I officially admit defeat?
  11. It seems to me that it only gets more and more discouraging. Im 6months out heading towards my 7th, and I am only about 56lbs down. I have had stall after stall. Its frustrating because now im probably not gonna lose very much more. I have hit my 6 months. If I would have known I might have gone with the gastric. It just seems a bit unfair that there's no medical answer why some loose faster then others. I'd like some pointers on what I can do to pick up the pace if its possible.
  12. Still loosing at a slow pace. Almost 5 months and only at 42lbs. Stalling for nearly 1 1/2 now very discouraged.
  13. I know exactly what you mean....Ill be 5months in January. Down ONLY 43lbs, I know it seems like alit to some but not to me. Im at a point were I don't wanna see my surgeon because in extremely angry at little progress. After six months the weight loss slows drastically....ok great I haven't started to loose drastically yet. I feel like a failure seriously do. What can one do?

  15. Will I loose it after my cycle is over?
  16. Hi everyone ok, this is my second menstrual cycle post op. My question is I dropped 5 pounds right before my period. Then weighed myself the day I received it and Boom gained back all 5 lbs. What's going on?
