  1. 23 pounds, looking like a slow loser too!
  2. I was supposed to start on the 30th and only usually spot for 1 day before it starts. I spotted for 4 days and finally started on the 5th extremely heavy when its usually not... Called dr and said the first couple may be messed up.
  3. I am on my path there as well. Started at 335 and at about 310 now. Sleeved on 9-10. Haven't been below 300 since 1998, good luck
  4. I am 5 weeks out and the most meat I can eat is 2 oz. It's still weird to me also to leave food in my plate. But so worth it in the end...
  5. I'm almost to week 5 and now down 22 since surgery and 32 total. Feel great for the most part! Ready to start the gym but haven't been cleared yet!
  6. Thanks everybody! All the responses help!
  7. I was regular all the way up to surgery which was a month ago. It's time now and I usually spot for a day then it comes but now I've been spotting for 3 and its hardly anything. So weird
  8. Just a quick question... Has anyone noticed a change in their period since surgery? I keep spotting and it just won't start all the way.. This is my first one since surgery. Just wondering
  9. Congrats! I can't wait to get there, only 14 pounds to go.. It's such a great feeling
  10. My husband lost a huge amount the 1st week and then gained 2 pounds the 2nd. Be patient , your still swollen and probably still have lots of fluid in you. It will start coming off. I'm starting my 4th week post op today and down 17 pounds and my husband is 6 weeks post op and have lost 31. Stay focused and positive
  11. I'm just starting my 4th week post op today... Most days are great and I keep my food down and then others I take a bite to many and up it comes. Really need to get this figured out. My husband and I were sleeved 2 weeks apart and and he's had no problems at all. Just frustrated.
  12. Go to the amusement parks and ride rides again Shop at normal clothes stores not plus size Be able to sit in a booth st a restaurant Have skinny sex sounds funny but so true And most importantly have a baby
  13. I went back after 2 weeks. Was good until mid afternoon before I started to get tired
  14. Oh good I thought I was crazy! I usually don't either even when I'm getting my period and now my chin is like a war zone, lol
  15. I'm 2 weeks post op and noticing I'm starting to break out a little. Has this happened to anyone else?
  16. Every doctor has a different answer as to what you have to fibrin the weeks following surgery. I had mine on the 10th and was told I could have puréed meats as well as eggs and soft foods like cottage cheese and yogurt. Have been doing fine with it!
  17. My husband and I were sleeved 2 weeks apart. His first week he lost 18 pounds and his 2nd week he gained s pound. Started loosing again in week 3. My first week only lost 5 pounds. On my second week now and since we have started walking I see the numbers dropping on me a lot. My biggest concern is stalls but I know everyone goes through it.
  18. I was sleeved on the 10th and came home on the 14th. I have been doing great until today when I threw up my breakfast. Have had a lot of gas today as well. Good luck to everyone on this journey!
  19. My husband and I had our 2 weeks apart. I'm 1 week post op tomorrow and he's starting week 4. It's definitely easier for us. We made the decision to do it together for this purpose. Good luck with yours. I wouldn't go back for anything!
  20. I am still working on getting all my fluids in also. It does get easier every day. Just really need to start concentrating in getting my walking going too.
  21. Everyday gets better. I'm 6 days post op and still feel some pain but that's because I've over done it a little. I tire quicker than I thought I would though. I stayed in the hospital for 3 nights and couldn't wait to get home. Remember take your pain meds, they will help I promise!
