Do you have pictures of your Dr ponce? I was told first hand that there are a few Dr's down there posing as Dr ponce.

I will for sure let you know how it goes, not sure about the price difference, I booked in April and I got in on a special of $5200 I am using a coordinator so maybe that's why.

I am scheduled with Dr ponce next week I used Trish as my coordinator she has been great to work with, I had to fill out paper work that went over my medical history, I am not required 6 months of pre op anything I am pretty sure if want surgery in June with him you will get in. As far as cost I was quoted $5500 but if your bmi is over 50 its an extra $500 and that includes everything(hospital,hotel, transport to and from San Diego)

Yeah I am blessed with a great support group. I looked into Amtrak as well but driving is a better option for us. I am so excited.

It is a small world I am not to far from BYU I am 30 mins south. My parents and cousin are going with me but my parents will stay in San Diego while myself and my cousin go to mexico, I wish my hubs could go but he has to be on daddy duty while I am gone. I plan to video my trip.

At the end of the day your heart will tell you who is right for you, that's how it happened for me I had 3 on my list but the other two just never felt 100% right but Dr Ponce always has.

5500 for a bmi under 50 and 6000 for a bmi over 50 that's what I was quoted

If you poke around there is a REALLY long post started called "All things Dr Ponce De Leon" its full of great info about Dr Ponce, I plan to go with him once I have the money saved.

Thank you so so so much you have eased my fears I have the same one about the bathroom to so I have just been thinking I will use it before I board and then hold it until I land should I need to go but yes slowing down on the liquid a while before hand would be smart to I hadn't thought of that. Can I ask how your flying experience was and who you flew with? I am starting out at the same weight as you and I am worried sick about the airplane nothing else really just the dang plane, I am scared I won't fit down the passage way between the rows of seats, I know I will have to pay for two seats for me but yeah.

what about a dr that is mid price point with a great reputation and does the surgery in a hospital, they are out there

I didn't come across that with Dr Ponce De Leon give him a try. My BMI is way past 50 I told them my weight and all I was told is I would have to pay an extra $500 His coordinator Trish is on facebook WLS-for-Betterlife.

Dr Ponce is $5500 and $500 more if your BMI is over 50. Thats what I was quoted.

When I first contacted Trish it was about a day before I heard back from her I contacted her through facebook, and then she emailed me right away with the medical history forms and another form explaining everything. If you don't hear back try emailing again. Actually I think I just asked her a question on her facebook page first and then she facebook emailed me and then we went from there.
